Advantages
- Cheap to buy
- Portable because they are so small
- Requires very little power
- Very reliable (have no moving parts)
- No drivers required to read/write
Disadvantages
- Can easily be lost
- Limited number of write and erase cycles before the drive fails
- Data may corrupt
- The USB may wear and break
- A drawback to the small size is that they are easily misplaced, left behind, or otherwise lost.
